Adopt a Pet!

From time to time our facility will have pets that we have rescued that are in need of a new forever home. We pride ourselves in making sure that all of our rescues are healthy, current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and have as much socialization as possible. Because of our investment in providing the best care possible for these pets that would otherwise likely not been afforded this level of care, and most definitely continued to contribute to the overwhelming animal over-population crisis that our area suffers from, we do require an adoption fee per pet that we adopt out. This adoption fee starts at $120. This is a tremendous savings to the new owner, and allows us the ability to continue to help future rescued animals in need of medical attention and adoption to new homes. However, this adoption fee does not prepay for any continued services or care. Some of our younger pets available for adoption may not be fully vaccinated, and it is required of the new owner to follow-up with this care. All potential new owners will be screened to ensure that our adoptable pets find the perfect owner match for their new home.

Thank you in advance for your consideration of making one of our rescued pets your new family member! If you would like to meet one of the pets we have available for adoption, please call our office at (903) 454-6222, or e-mail us at info@turtlecreekvmc.com for more information, and/or to schedule an appointment for a visit.

Currently, we have a number of young cats/kittens that are in need of homes. All of them have been tested and are negative for Feline Leukemia and also for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), otherwise known as Feline AIDS. They have been vaccinated, de-wormed, spayed/neutered, are litter-box trained and socialized as much as possible. We require that all of these kittens live as indoor pets at their new homes.

Meet Juno a/k/a "J-WOW"!!

This sweet girl is now available for adoption! She was saved by one of our clients who found her huddled under their car during our last snow storm. She is playful, very sweet, and loves cuddling and chasing the other kitties in the clinic. She is current on her immunizations, has been spayed, and is negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV. We estimate her to be ~ 8 months old. There is never a dull moment with this little firecracker! She gets along great with other cats and dogs, and has been socialized in a home with small children during her foster period with us. She has brought much joy to our team and clients and is ready to find her furrrrever home as an indoor family addition!"
