Pet Insurance:
Without pet insurance, I would be pet-less! Vet bills add up quickly when unexpected situations happen. I happen to own one accident prone dachshund that has been in the vet’s office quite a bit. Before I had pet insurance, Hunter had parvovirus and it ended up costing me over $1000 because he had to be hospitalized. As soon as I heard about pet insurance, I signed up and sure enough a couple of weeks later; Hunter needed surgery because he had ingested a pacifier. Well the insurance saved me a TON of money; I paid less than $500 for his surgery and recovery bills. Plus the insurance has contributed to his basic wellness check ups, from his shots to his monthly flea/tick/heartworm medicine. Getting pet insurance has been one of the best decisions I could have made for my wallet and my pet’s health! The monthly costs are low and the pay off is high. It allows me to not worry when an accident happens because I know I will be able to help my animal, without it I do not think I could have been able to keep my dog.Kristy DeHaas

Laser Therapy:
”Our dog is a 13 year old Bearded Collie and is a very loved member of our family. For the last several years, he has suffered from arthritis in his front legs. Dr. Rocky suggested we try laser therapy for him. We noticed a marked difference on the 2nd day. Joey absolutely loved the treatments. He would run to our car and couldn’t wait to get in. I highly recommend the therapy, and the staff at TCVMC was wonderful to work with for scheduling.J. Paul and Ann Sides

Laser Surgery:
"Dr. Rocky is an awesome veterinarian, always staying up to date with the latest technology and medication in order to help the furry members of our families! It was no surprise to me when he started performing laser surgeries, but what was surprising was the recovery process. The dogs and cats that have recently been spayed/neutered with the laser had a faster recovery, less pain, and minimal scaring. Even the cats that were declawed bounced back quicker! As a shelter we have tried several different avenues of medical care in order to provide for our animals, but by far the laser surgery that is offered by Dr. Rocky at Turtle Creek Veterinary Medical Center has worked the best for us! Thank you for all the services you provide!!"Tanyal Parnell and all the dogs and cats of H.O.P.E. Shelter

Laser Surgery:
"My two cats were destroying my furniture at my apartment and I was getting married in a couple of months. My fiancé said that he liked my cats, but loved his furniture and in order for them to move in, they had to be declawed. I had thoughts of when my parents had our cat declawed when I was growing up. Her little feet were bandaged and bleeding, and it looked like she was in pain when she walked. Her recovery seemed to take weeks. I approached Dr. Rocky and his staff bout the declawing my two cats and I was very nervous and apprehensive about the process. Dr. Rocky informed me that he had recently purchased a laser surgery device and asked if I would be interested in having the declaw done with the laser. He said it is significantly less painful for the kitty and that after an overnight stay for observation, they would go home with no bandages! I agreed and booked them for surgery. I dropped off my two cats, Sam and Ari for surgery. Dr. Rocky called me and let know that everything went great and that I could pick them up the next day. I purchased the special kitty litter they would need and took them home with directions for care. Same and Ari came home with no bandages on their feed and when I looked at their feet, I couldn’t tell they had surgery! The licked their feet a little the first night, but they were up walking as soon as I brought them home. Laser surgery was definitely the perfect choice for me to have my cats declawed. The process was so easy, and their recovery was amazingly fast! After a few days of rest and relaxation, my kitties were back to normal – minus the destruction of the couches! We’re now a happy family living together with declawed cats!"Lauren Moore

Laser Surgery:
"I had my 3 'babies' declawed early this year using the laser surgery. It was great! My oldest cat was declawed the "old fashioned" way a few years ago. I am so glad this is available now. There was only the smallest amount of bleeding from one out of six paws. And that only lasted a few minutes. The pain was certainly less. After only a couple of hours home, they were all three acting as though nothing had happened. When my oldest cat was declawed, it was several days before she was able to play and enjoy life again. And the healing time being much shorter now meant not having to deal with the newspaper litter for as long as that is a big plus. I would certainly recommend laser to anyone thinking about having their cats or kittens declawed."Tracy Lively, Mother of "Skeeter", "Sox", "Ninja" and "Snuggles"
