COVID-19 AND YOUR PET
In consideration of the continued spread of COVID-19, Turtle Creek Veterinary Medical Center will continue to closely monitor the situation and continue to work diligently to ensure the health and safety of our staff, clients and patients. Veterinary hospitals are considered essential businesses, and we will remain OPEN during this time.
We are strong believers in preventative medicine, wellness, and safety of our clients, patients, and medical team. Our hospital already follows stringent protocols when it comes to cleaning and sanitizing, however, we have added additional disinfection and sanitation protocols which include, sanitizing all touch points multiple times during each business day.
Although we are open for business and are continuing to see patients, we are implementing the following guidelines in an effort to reduce the number of people inside of our hospital:
Clients are only allowed to enter the building when an appointment has been scheduled.
Only one person will be permitted to enter the building with said appointment, unless a second person is essential to assist the first individual.
For scheduled appointments please check in with our Client Care team at our reception desk to be escorted directly to an exam room.
Curbside service is available upon request. If you prefer not to enter the building for your pet’s appointment, please let us know at the time of scheduling and we will be happy to accommodate.
We are also encouraging day admission appointments during this time to reduce the foot traffic thru the hospital’s common areas. Rest assured your pet will receive the same high-level quality of care from our veterinarians and technicians during a day admission, while allowing us to communicate via phone regarding your pet.
If you are feeling ill, we ask that you have someone else bring your pet in. Please contact us prior to making these arrangements so that we may ensure that all proper authorizations have been implemented.
If you need to pick up food, medications or other supplies, we are asking you to stay in your vehicle and call or text us at (903) 454-6222, to let us know you have arrived. Please call ahead for medications and supplies so that we can have them ready for you. Payment can be made digitally via our text to pay option, or we can process your payment upon arrival. Please keep in mind that in the event of closure due to the request of governing agencies, you may want to request enough medications to last your pet 14-30 days.
Our online pharmacy is available and offers home delivery for many of your pet’s needs, including prescription medications, food, supplements and more. Additional resources can be found on our website at turtlecreekvmc.com. Keep in mind, shipping can take several business days, therefore we encourage you to be proactive in ordering the items your pet may need.

As always, we are committed to providing you and your pet with excellent care! We will continue to provide that care while ensuring the health and safety of our employees and clients.
