Jonathan Rocky, D.V.M
Dr. Jonathan Rocky is a 2003 graduate from Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Rocky opened the doors of Turtle Creek Veterinary Medical Center in 2006 to realize his dream of providing exceptional client care and veterinary medicine to the residents of Hunt County. Dr. Rocky and his wife Lauri reside in Greenville, with their twin daughters, Avery and Ella, dogs Buckey and Animas, and four cats Waylon, Willie, Scout & Cheeto. Dr. Rocky holds memberships in many veterinary organizations and is dedicated to practicing current protocols and modern, preventative medicine to ensure the safety and well being of the rest of your family. Dr. Rocky is assisted by an experienced and devoted team who understands the special bond between pets and their family. Their expertise, knowledge and compassion for animals allow them to give you the personal and unique attention you and your pet deserve.
Kaitlyn Boerner, D.V.M
Dr. Boerner began pursuing her dream to help and care for animals at a young age. As a high school student, she spent her time volunteering at veterinary hospitals and animal shelters throughout her hometown of Longview, Texas. She then moved to Commerce, Texas, where she began her first steps toward a career in veterinary medicine as a student at Texas A&M University-Commerce. During her time there, she joined Turtle Creek as a Kennel Assistant. Over the next 3 years, she gained valuable experience from the clinic until she achieved her Bachelor degree in Animal Science, Pre-Veterinary Medicine in 2014. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Dr. Boerner left the clinic to attend Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she achieved her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Dr. Boerner has since re-joined the clinic as an Associate Veterinarian. Dr. Boerner and her husband Brandon reside in Commerce, with their 3-legged cat Meeko. Dr. Boerner is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
Senior Veterinary Technician, CVA-2
Spencer joined Turtle Creek as a Veterinary Technician in August of 2010. His passion for the medical field, and love of animals has kept him continuously interested in veterinary science. He has explored many avenues in this field. From veterinary assistant to pharmaceutical sales, to his most recent venture in College Station, TX as an Anesthesia Technician for Texas A&M University. Just recently he, along with his wife and three children, moved back from College Station so that they may pursue greater opportunities and be closer to family. Spencer has 4 canine family members; two Labradors, Katy and Max, and two Lhasa Apso's named Coco and Tumi. In his spare time, Spencer can be found entertaining his boys with fishing, riding bikes, or doing just about anything outdoors!
Veterinary Technician, CVA-1
Nichole has been a Veterinary Technician with Turtle Creek since 2015. She recently graduated college in 2018 with a Bachelors in Animal Science, and is continuing her education in the veterinary field to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Nichole loves the outdoors and wants to travel the world! Her favorite place is wherever there is an ocean. Her favorite thing to do is to get outdoors with her dog Maggie. She currently has three pets of her own; " Bailey," who is a sweet Chihuahua and her childhood pet; "Sia", a little bob tail kitten with special needs that was born at our hospital. Nichole adopted Sia after caring for her and quickly falling in love with her spunky personality! Lastly, "Maggie" who she describes her as a crazy Catahoula and keeps her on her toes day and night. Nichole is a very hard worker who is incredibly dedicated to our profession, and has a huge heart for helping all of our furry friends here at Turtle Creek.
Veterinary Technician, CVA-1
Kelly joined the Turtle Creek team in July 2018. She has been a veterinary technician for several years. She has lived in the Greenville area her entire life and has always had a passion for all creatures, great and small. Promoting informed and educated pet ownership is one of her goals, as well as providing the best care possible to our patients. In her free time, she enjoys reading, riding horses, and volunteering with our local animal shelter. She is a 1st dan black belt in Taekwondo and has shown Jack Russell Terriers in the JRTCA for about 18 years. At home, Kelly has three dogs of her own: two jack russells named Mouse and Zazu, and a Heinz 57 named Chinook.
Registered Veterinary Technician
Erica graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Cedar Valley College in 2010, and from Tarleton State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business. Erica loves living in the country and farm life! She has 5 horses, several chickens (all have names), 4 pet turkeys, a dove, and her 4 "kids" (her dogs) Chey, Spike and Stella, and Wilee. Erica has been an animal lover her entire life and could not imagine working in any other profession.

Lauri Rocky, Ph.D.
Lauri has been with Turtle Creek since its inception and serves the clinic as the Practice/Business Manager. She and Dr. Rocky currently reside in Greenville with their twin daughters Avery and Ella, along with a houseful of furry, four-legged kids. Outside of work, Lauri thoroughly enjoys time with her family, reading, most any craft project. Lauri holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Texas. After graduating college she decided pursue a post-graduate degree in the field reproductive biology at Texas A&M University. While there, she completed a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Reproductive Physiology with specific emphasis in canine and bovine reproduction. She supports Dr. Rocky with the assisted reproductive needs of his canine clients. Lauri has also enjoyed serving as Adjunct Professor at Texas A&M University – Commerce where she has taught courses in Anatomy & Physiology, Reproductive Physiology of Domestic Animals and Nutritional Biochemistry to undergraduate students in the Agricultural Sciences Department.
Hospital Administrator, CVA-1
Jennifer joined Turtle Creek as our Hospital Administrator in July of 2012. Her background includes experience in client service and technician positions, as well as working for a veterinary management consulting group, where she helped veterinary practices nationwide improve their management structure and client service. Her passion is supporting the bond between pet owners and their pets through exceptional client service and superior medical care. Jennifer plans to further her education by becoming a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager through the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association. She resides in Greenville with her husband, Russell, their son, Lance, and their three dogs, Zoey, Benjamin and Leonard.
Senior Client Care Specialist, CVA-1
Before joining our team in October 2013, Jenn worked in the “human” medical field for over 10 years. Jenn was ready, looking, and excited to make a career change and saw an opportunity to enter the veterinary medical field. She jumped at the chance to work with animals when she found an opening. She has always been an animal lover and so it made perfect sense! Jenn is our Senior Client Care Specialist, she is CVA-1 certified, one of our event coordinators for our Hot Diggity Dog Jog event and our clinic “go to” mom. Outside of the clinic Jenn has her esthetician license, loves skin care and all things to do with beauty. In addition to all her qualities listed above she is compassionate about helping those in need no matter what the circumstance is she jumps in fully ready to help however she can. Jenn is blessed with two sons, Christian and Hadyn, and two beautiful granddaughters, Aubree and Arya. She has three fur babies of her own too; “Pico de Gato” a loving, loyal, and feisty orange tabby, “Dahlia” a vivacious and energetic blue pit bull, and “Siddee” a curiously sweet snowshoe mix. On her off time, she enjoys spending her time with family and friends, taking spontaneous road trips, and she loves going to listen to live music.
