Our newly renovated, full-service veterinary hospital and skilled professional staff provides an educational and compassionate environment for pets and their people, allowing us to offer comprehensive medical and preventative care for the rest of your family.

Jonathan Rocky, D.V.M

Dr. Rocky is a 2003 graduate from Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Rocky opened the doors of Turtle Creek Veterinary Medical Center in 2006 to realize his dream of providing exceptional client care and veterinary medicine to the residents of Hunt County. Dr. Rocky and his wife Lauri reside in Greenville, with their twin daughters, Avery and Ella, dogs Animas and Harriett, and four cats Waylon, Willie, Scout & Cheeto. Dr. Rocky holds memberships in many veterinary organizations and is dedicated to practicing current protocols and modern, preventative medicine to ensure the safety and well-being of the rest of your family. Dr. Rocky is assisted by an experienced and devoted team who understands the special bond between pets and their family. Their expertise, knowledge and compassion for animals allow them to give you the personal and unique attention you and your pet deserve.

Kaitlyn Boerner, D.V.M

Dr. Boerner began pursuing her dream to help and care for animals at a young age. As a high school student, she spent her time volunteering at veterinary hospitals and animal shelters throughout her hometown of Longview, Texas. She then moved to Commerce, Texas, where she began her first steps toward a career in veterinary medicine as a student at Texas A&M University-Commerce. During her time there, she joined Turtle Creek as a Kennel Assistant. Over the next 3 years, she gained valuable experience from the clinic until she achieved her Bachelor degree in Animal Science, Pre-Veterinary Medicine in 2014. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Dr. Boerner left the clinic to attend Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she achieved her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Dr. Boerner has since re-joined the Turtle Creek as an Associate Veterinarian. Dr. Boerner and her husband Brandon reside on their farm in Commerce, with their spoiled cows, Anatolian Shepherd, Ryder and three cats, Meeko, Purrcy, and Zeke. Dr. Boerner is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Texas Veterinary Medical Association

Lauri Rocky, Ph.D.
Business Manager

Lauri has been with Turtle Creek since its inception and serves the clinic as the Practice/Business Manager.  She and Dr. Rocky currently reside in Greenville with their twin daughters Avery and Ella, along with a houseful of furry, four-legged kids. Outside of work, Lauri thoroughly enjoys time with her family, reading, and most any craft project. Lauri holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Texas. After graduating college she decided pursue a post-graduate degree in the field reproductive biology at Texas A&M University. While there, she completed a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Reproductive Physiology with specific emphasis in canine and bovine reproduction. She supports Dr. Rocky with the assisted reproductive needs of his canine clients. Lauri has also enjoyed serving as Adjunct Professor at Texas A&M University – Commerce where she has taught courses in Anatomy & Physiology, Reproductive Physiology of Domestic Animals and Nutritional Biochemistry to undergraduate students in the Agricultural Sciences Department.

Jennifer Butler
Hospital Administrator, CVA-1

Jennifer joined Turtle Creek as our Hospital Administrator in July of 2012. Her background includes experience in client service and technician positions, as well as working for a veterinary management consulting group, where she helped veterinary practices nationwide improve their management structure and client service. Her passion is supporting the bond between pet owners and their pets through exceptional client service and superior medical care. Jennifer plans to further her education by becoming a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager through the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association. She resides in Caddo Mills with her husband, Russell, their son, Lance, and their three dogs,  Benjamin, Leonard and Watson.

Jessica Boyson
Practice Manager

Jessica joined our team in January of 2019 with several years of experience in the veterinary industry, including client service and veterinary technician training.  Since she was very young, Jessica has been involved with rehabbing squirrels and has helped rehabilitate several squirrel babies since she came to Turtle Creek.  It is not uncommon for her to be seen around the hospital with a squirrel tucked in her pocket.   Two fun facts about Jessica – her favorite color is blue, and she wishes she knew how to whistle.  Jessica is a pet parent to two dogs, Millie and Poppy, and a cat Lilly.   In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and completing DIY projects around her home.

Jayde Hollis
Client Care Coordinator

Jayde began her career at TCVMC in October 2019 as a Client Care Specialist. Her passion for medicine, animals, and her positive upbeat attitude made her the perfect fit for our team. In her time with us, she has grown immensely in our field. Now, as a Client Care Coordinator, she handles all operations at the front desk - though you might see her assisting our doctors and technicians with testing or procedures from time to time. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, naps, video games, and Chipotle. Her fiancé, daughter, and their two cats love her to the moon – and we do too!

Gabby Cheline
Client Care Specialist

Gabby started working at Turtle Creek as a Client Care Specialist in September of 2020. She graduated from Greenville High School in 2016 and has since been pursuing her love for Veterinary Medicine. Gabby always has a smile on her face and is very eager to help all of our clients and patients who walk through the door. When she isn't working she loves to spend time painting or crafting, cooking, and spending time with her 2 children.

Spencer White, CVA -2

Hospital Operations Manager

Spencer joined Turtle Creek as a Veterinary Technician in August of 2010. His passion for the medical field, and love of animals has kept him continuously interested in veterinary science and medicine. He has explored many avenues in this field, from veterinary assistant to pharmaceutical sales, anesthesia technician at Texas A&M University, Sr. Veterinary Technician with us, and now is in charge of all hospital operations.  Spencer is the most senior member of our team, completing 10 years of service in 2020!   He enjoys free time with his family and canine companions jeeping, hiking, and other outdoor activities.

Kelly Key
Veterinary Technician, CVA-1

Kelly joined the Turtle Creek team in July 2018. She has been a veterinary technician for several years. She has lived in the Greenville area her entire life and has always had a passion for all creatures, great and small. Promoting informed and educated pet ownership is one of her goals, as well as providing the best care possible to our patients. In her free time, she enjoys reading, riding horses, and volunteering with our local animal shelter. She is a 1st dan black belt in Taekwondo and has shown Jack Russell Terriers in the JRTCA for about 18 years. At home, Kelly has three dogs of her own: two jack russells named Mouse and Zazu, and a Heinz 57 named Chinook.

Erica Walker, B.S.
Registered Veterinary Technician

Erica graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Cedar Valley College in 2010, and from Tarleton State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business.   Erica loves living in the country and farm life!  She has 5 horses, several chickens (all have names), 4 pet turkeys, a dove,  and her 4 "kids" (her dogs) Chey, Spike and Stella, and Wilee.  Erica has been an animal lover her entire life and could not imagine working in any other profession.

Kaylee Shields
Veterinary Technician

Kaylee has been a part of our team since 2019, first with the Patient Care department, and currently the Veterinary Technician department. She is a freshman in college to pursue her dream as a Dental Hygienist. When she has free time she is either spending it with her friends or watching Netflix. She loves to play tennis and played all throughout high school. She has one dog named Kendell and loves animals. She has really enjoyed working as part of our team and is eager to learn as much as she can.

Esmeralda Aguilar
Client Care Specialist,
Technician Assistant

Esme grew up in Caddo Mills, TX but is currently residing in Greenville to be close to school. She is currently attending A&M University in Commerce to pursue a bachelors in science and nursing to become a Registered Nurse. Esme  has 4 fur babies, 2 pit bulls named Maverick and Athena and 2 Dachshund babies named Mocha and Hank. When she is not working or at school you will find her at home watching movies and cuddling with all my babies. She never thought she would see herself working at a veterinary hospital, but she loves every minute of it and enjoys working with such an awesome team!

Lucero Osornio
Technician Assistant
 

Lucero is a sophomore in college. She began volunteering with us during the fall of 2019 and currently works as a Technician Assistant. She currently attends Texas A&M Commerce and is going through vet tech school, set to graduate in May of 2024. After completing the program, she plans to apply for vet school and pursue a career in small animal veterinary medicine. In her free time, Lucero likes to spend time with family and watch Netflix. She lives on a farm, with 3 dogs, Buddy, Chocolate and Rowdy, a cat, a horse, and a lot of cows. She loves learning and appreciates all of the knowledge she's gained from working at Turtle Creek.

Pamela Barboza
Patient Care Attendant

Pamela started as a volunteer in September of 2020 and began working in the PCA department in July of 2021. She is currently taking classes at Paris Junior College, pursuing a career as a veterinary technician. Pamela has a cat named Meche, a goat named Juliet, and a bunny named Charlie. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, and hanging out with her friends. Pamela enjoys working here at Turtle Creek and hopes to continue to expand her knowledge in veterinary medicine.
